Wild Boar Afternoon Hunting Report:
March 2, 2001Florida wild boar hog hunting party of 4 hunters which consisted of the following hog hunters: (photo left) Hugh Artrip (Piermont, NY - 845-365-1739 - e-mail: Kureedug@aol.com), Creg Talbolt (Bakers City, OR - ph: 541-524-7606), Tod, Clark (Pendleton, OR - ph: 541-966-9585) and Justin Artrip (Tuxedo, NY - ph: 845-753-9365) bagged a wild hog each during an exciting and successful Afternoon of hog hunt on March 2, 2001. Huge took his hog with a 20 guage shotgun. Creg used a bow to nail his. Tod also got his with a bow. Justin used a 45-70 caliber rifle to drop his. We had a wild hog the dogs had chased quite a distance and fought with for some time "drop dead" just as we got to it. We assume it died of heat exhaustion or a heart attack. Creg who had his bow drawn back ready to shot just when the pig dropped dead caught so good ribbing from all the guys. Most of the guys said the pig dropped dead when it looked at Creg's ugly face....
I was able to get only a photo of Hugh's hog during this (March 2, 2001) 4 persons hunt. I also was unable to get photos of the second 4 person hunt Hugh arranged on March 3, 2001. As soon as I receive photos from Hugh, (as noted in the below e-mail testimonial) I will post them. Click here to read a hunting report of the second wild hog hunt Hugh arranged for 4 other wild hog hunters on the afternoon of March 3, 2001.
