Wild Boar Hunting Report:
March 16, 2001Wild boar hunter Doyle Stevens and non-hunter wife Mary Lou (Petersburg, NY - ph: 518-658-0136 - e-mail: marylou@taconic.net) bagged 2 wild hogs, a large boar and sow while his wife Mary Lou video taped the action. This wild boar hunt took place in the cow pastures of Glades county on March 16, 2001. Doyle used a 30-30 rifle to take both hogs. The boar hog had 3 1/2 inch tusks. It also cut up the dogs during the battle.
Here's some ivoryHere's a e-mail testimonial I receved from the above wild boar hunting party:
The hunt was very exciting. It was great fun watching the dogs work. The guides were very professional and friendly. They did a great job in preparing the meat and overall. We started about 7:45 and got the first hog by 8:05 and the second by 8:15. Doye Stevens
