CANCELLATION POLICY
TERMS & CONDITIONS

The buyer by making an online credit card or money order reservation deposit with the seller
(Ron's Guide Service) states, acknowledges and understands:

That a non-refundable reservation deposit is required.

That no guarantees, expressed or implied, are made that the seller's fishing tour will meet all of the buyer's expectations, specifically regarding the fishing area chosen by the guide, lack of fish or signs that fish are in the area, fishing conditions, productiveness or weather conditions.

That the seller does primarily guide fish on Lake Okeechobee, the rim canals that surround Lake Okeechobee and the boat ramp access canals that give boaters access to Lake Okeechobee.

That the buyer knows, understands and accepts that they will be fishing either out on Lake Okeechobee or just in the rim canals and/or access canals depending on where the fish have been located or thought to be holding by your guide.

That the buyer knows, understands and accepts that the guide has sole priority over the area chosen to fish which is determined by the fishing conditions, the weather conditions, windy conditions and/or low water conditions which would make fishing out on the big lake not safe and dangerous.

That the reservation deposit is a non-refundable partial payment and commitment for the reservation activity being reserved.

That there is not a reservation deposit cancellation grace period in which a refund will be made.

That there are no refunds for a reservation deposit cancellation made by the buyer for any reasons or under any circumstances.

That there are no refunds for any reservation changes made in the itinerary while enroute.

That there are no refunds or credit applied for a reservation deposit cancellation made for a third person for any reasons or under any circumstances.

That the buyer knows, understands and accepts the total cost for the reservation activity the reservation deposit is being made for.

That the seller does not offer a rain check on any of their fishing trips. The seller has no control over the weather and therefore cannot be responsible for the disruption of the buyer's trip due to weather.

That the buyer by making a credit card reservation deposit states full knowledge and acceptance of the terms and conditions of the reservation deposit cancellation policy.

That the buyer does waive his credit card rights to dispute or cancel the credit card reservation deposit made.

That all questions of law in any action based upon any claim of breach of this agreement shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida as existing at the time of such action. Any action brought by either party based on any claim arising under or as a result of the contract or based on the tour package of which it is a part, shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Glades County, Florida.

FISHING REFUND POLICY

A full or partial refund will be made to a pre-paid party who was unable to fish
due only to our fault under these conditions:
1) our fishing guide experiences equipment (guide boat, trailer or vehicle) breakdowns.
2) our fishing guide experiences illness, family crisis or other emergency.
3) another fishing guide or boat is not available to take the party out.
Under these 3 conditions a party who has fished half a day instead of a full day will be charged for a half a day at our half day web site rate and refunded the difference. This would also apply to our 2 half day 1 night fishing special package rate with the exception that a party will be charged $25.00 for the included lodging and refunded the difference.

No refunds are given to a pre-paid party or someone in the party that can't fish for some reason on any part or all of the days they have reserved.
No refunds are given to a pre-paid party or someone in the party for any unused pre-paid services included in the tour package or any changes made in the itinerary while here.
No refunds are given to a pre-paid party or someone in the party for any pre-paid days or hours not used do to poor fishing, bad weather, illness, family crisis or any other emergency.

We strongly advise you to purchase trip insurance soon after registering for a trip. In the event that you must cancel your trip due to illness, family crisis or other emergency, this insurance reimburses you for non-refundable trip costs. This insurance also provides for limited accident and baggage coverage. You may purchase trip insurance through any travel agent.

Go over the below check list before you select the activity below you wish to reserve with a credit card deposit:

Check with us by phone or e-mail for availability of dates

Check with us by e-mail to confirm the total cost of your trip in writing.

Check that you have entered the correct date/s you want to fish.

Check that you have selected a morning or afternoon trip on your half day trip.

Check that you have selected the right amount of persons rate.

Check that you have selected the check out cart box quantity (QTY) correctly.

Example: a half day, full day or 2 half day 1 night package whether it is
for 1 or 2 persons would be a (QTY) quantity 1. Third person on any of said rates would also be a (QTY) quantity 1.

Please note, there is a small charge (2.9%) by PayPal for this service.
