fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United

Lake Okeechobee bass fishing honeymoon couple
Travis and Corney Casteel (Maryville, MO - ph: 660-562-3399 -
e-mail: tcasteel@asde.net) caught
and released about 30 bass that included a 6 lb'er bass during
3 days of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron on May 20 - 22, 2002.
Poor weather conditions slowed down the fishing. Corney caught
and released the 6 lb'er. Bass were caught in Harney Pond Canal
and the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
Lake Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Paul
Allen and his son Cody (Inkom, ID - ph: 208-775-3522 - e-mail:
alcrane@dcdi.net) caught and
released 11 bass that included a 6 1/2 lb. bass during a half
day morning of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron on May 19, 2002.
Paul caught the 6 1/2 lb'er. All bass were caught in the North
Shore area of Lake Okeechobee. Paul and his son both bagged a
wild sow during a combined wild boar hunt during the afternoon.

- ph: 706-210-8206 - e-mail: kpgodwin@aol.com) caught and released
17 bass that included a 7 lb., 6 1/2 lb. and two 6 lb'ers during
2 half day mornings of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron on
May 7 & 8, 2002. Karry caught the 7 lb'er. Mike caught the
6 1/2 and two 6 lb'ers. Bass were caught in the North Shore area
of Lake Okeechobee.
