Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing
Brag'n Board: January 2002Enjoy viewing "hundreds" of pictures of Lake Okeechobee trophy bass that were caught while wild shiner fishing on Lake Okeechobee by anglers from across the United States. Our Lake Okeechobee trophy bass pictures are also cataloged under each month they were caught during the 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years. A Lake Okeechobee bass fishing report on amount of bass caught, area caught and other information is listed with each trophy bass picture. To ensure validity the angler's name, address, phone number and e-mail address is also listed with every Lake Okeechobee bass fishing report.
The Lake Okeechobee wild shiner bass fishing has been poor during this month because of the severe cold front conditions that hit Florida. Lake Okeechobee's bass spawn never really took place because of these conditions. Our guide fishing parties despite the terrible weather conditions managed to catch fish.

angler Dan Riedesel (Davenport, IA - ph: 563-386-7933 - e-mail:
dcrtool@worldnet.att.net) caught and released about 15 up to 7
lbs. during 1 and the half days (Jan. 28 & 29, 2002) of artificial
lure fishing with Ron's Guide Service. The trophy 7 lb. bass was
caught on a green glitter worn January 28th. Bass were caught
in the Monkey Box and North Shore areas of Lake Okeechobee.Ken was easy going & fun to be with, the 7 lbr made the trip worth while. Ken was very complimentary to me when ever I hooked a fish, and let me utilyze practically anything on his boat that would help me catch fish. Late afternoon early evening is when the fish really started to bite, Ken was not concerned about the clock, just in catching fish while they were biting. Our bass club just opened up a new web site, can I get a digital copy of the fish I caught for posting there. We could also listed your guide service as a link. You can check it out at harvesterbass.com.
