Bluegill Fishing Lake Okeechobee Report: July 8 & 9, 2001

Bluegill family airboat fishing party of 4 anglers which included: Tom Bedwell, wife Shirley, son Shaun and friend Aidan Davis (Milton, PA - e-mail: sab1048@yahoo.com) caught and released about 250 big bluegills during 2 half days of bluegill fishing with Captain Ron on July 8 & 9, 2001. Live crickets was the preferred bait. I fished Sportsman Canal during our afternoon session and Bird Island out on Lake Okeechobee during our morning session of bluegill fishing.
