Fishing Lake Okeechobee Report: June 21 & 22, 2001
Bluegill
fishing anglers Darrell Brock and his son Chris (Crothersville,
IN - ph: 812-793-9839) caught
and released a 128 bluegills during 2 half days (June 21 &
22, 2001) of bluegill fishing with Cap'n Ron. I fished Lake Okeechobee's
Sportsman Canal during our afternoon session of fishing and the
Point Of The Reef areas out on Lake Okeechobee during our morning
sessions of fishing. We used live crickets and beetle-spins lures
on ultra-light rod and reel fishing gear.
