the amount and size of bass caught, the Lake Okeechobee Florida
bass fishing techniques used by guides to catch them, the areas
of Lake Okeechobee that produced the best bass fishing action,
and other bass fishing information is contained in our Lake Okeechobee
Florida bass fishing reports. To ensure validity the angler's name address, city, state, phone number,
e-mail address, date and year the party fished is also included
in every fishing report.
The Lake Okeechobee
Florida bass fishing should of been excellent this month. Heavy
rain and windy conditions that we experienced during the entire
month of June did nothing other then to slow down the bass fishing.
The heavy flood water runoff into the lake which is very beneficial
in rising the lake level however has muddied up the water really
bad and shut down the trophy bass fishing.

23 & 24, 2002
Lake
Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Denny and his son Matty Mullins
(Totz, KY - ph: 606-573-9354) caught
bluegills, shellcrackers and bass up to 5 lbs during 2 half days
of fishing with Cap'n Ron on June 23 & 24, 2002. Matty caught
the 5 lb'er and some nice sized bluegills and shellcrackers. All
fish were released. Bass, bluegills and shellcrackers were caught
in Harney Pond Canal and the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

22 & 23, 2002
Lake
Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Tom Gee (Sunnydale, CA - e-mail:
tomgee@yahoo.com) and Jerry Kennedy (Alberguque, NM) caught about 10 bass up to 3 lbs
during 2 half days of fishing with Cap'n Ron on June 22 &
23, 2002. All bass were released. Bass were caught in Harney Pond
Canal and the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

11 & 12, 2002
Lake
Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Scott and Charlotte Pitts (Greenwood,
IN - e-mail: scott@greenwoodchristian.com) caught 10 bass that included a 5 1/2 lb,
5 lb. and 4 1/2 lb'er during 2 half days of wild shiner fishing
with Cap'n Ron on June 11 & 12, 2002. Scott caught the 5 1/2
lb'er. Charlotte got the 5 lb'er. All bass were released. Bass
were caught in Harney Pond Canal and the North Shore area of Lake
Okeechobee.

9 & 10, 2002
Lake
Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Dave, Melissa and Nick Graham
(Camden, SC - e-mail: spendmel@bellsouth.net) caught and released about 12 bass during
2 half days of wild shiner fishing with Cap'n Ron on June 9 &
10, 2002. Bass were caught in Harney Pond Canal and the North
Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.

3 & 4, 2002
Lake
Okeechobee bass fishing anglers Dwight Norris (Tuscaloosa, AL
- ph: 205-553-5757) and Dewy Weekley (Tuscaloosa, AL - ph: 205-339-3066)
caught 10 bass that
included a 7 lb'er during 2 half days of wild shiner fishing with
Cap'n Ron on June 3 & 4, 2002. Dwight caught the 7 lb'er.
All bass except the 7 lb'er were released. Bass were caught in
Harney Pond Canal and the North Shore area of Lake Okeechobee.
