Okeechobee Bass Fishing Report:
February
2002
Florida bass fishing reports for
each month of the 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999 and 1998 calendar years
that describe the amount and size of bass caught, the Lake Okeechobee
Florida bass fishing techniques used by guides to catch them,
the areas of Lake Okeechobee that produced the best bass fishing
action, and other bass fishing information is contained in our
Lake Okeechobee Florida bass fishing reports. To ensure validity the angler's
name address, city,
state, phone number, e-mail address, date and year the party fished
is also included in every fishing report.
The
Lake Okeechobee bass fishing should be excellant this month. Unusual
warm weather conditions that hit Florida with tempertures in the
80's will help to put the water temperture in the spawn range.
The trophy bass fishing during this month is one of the peak times
to be here. Take advantage of our special rate and come on down!

below.

Ron-
Other
than the weather the trip was great. We didn't go home with trophy
bass but Wilson and I both caught bass the first day out and
considering the weather I'm still pleased that we caught fish.

Hi
Cap'n Ron,
Just
wanted to say thanks for the fishing experience. The weather
sucked
but Dave and I still had a swell time fishin' with Cap'n Ken.
He's a good
ol' boy and we were lucky to have a guide so full of "Bullshit".
Please tell him thanks again and we will try to catch more MudFish
next
time, as we will fish only with him..... provided he gets his
aerator fixed.
Thanks again. Regardless of the weather, we endured and so did
Ken. He is
alot like Dave and I when it comes to fishin'. Hot, cold, wind,
rain, or
shine. He's a trooper and a "KEEPER". We look forward
to another fishing
trip in the near future. Let me know if you got any good specials
coming up
for guys from Virginia who love to fish and kinda know how.

We
had a WONDERFUL time!! Granted it was windy and the fish weren't
biting like gangbusters. But we loved our guide Ray Maimone and
had a great time. We will definitely consider using your services
if we can ever get back there again! We each caught some bass
every day. I believe the largest was over 5 lbs. (not big by Okeechobee
standards, but definitely fun) Somehow, I even caught a seagull.
Thank you so much for some wonderful fun and memories. we will
send along some photos if you would like,
Thanks again,
Sandy & Wayne
